A glitch was reported in Sony Playstation 3 that disconnect users from console’s online network which likely caused by a bug in the clock functionality incorporated in the system. PS3 users start seeing date of the systems being reset to Jan. 1, 2000. The problem is affecting older PlayStation 3 models, but not those newest slim version that went on sale in September of last year.
Sony Corp. warned also their PS3 players a data loss could occur if they will continue using their console not until the bug is resolved.
