I’ve been going into the process of opening several applications or programs first on my PC before running Cabal Philippines until today when I tried the following solution. But before going to the steps I only tested this on the following computer specifications :

AMD Atlon64 2.4GHZ
1GIG RAM
512MB Radeon Video Card
WindowsXP Sp2
with Pldt myDSL 512KBPs.

and

AMD Sempron 2.0GHZ
512MB RAM
128MB Ino3d video card
WindowsXP Sp2
with digitel DSL 800++KBPS
Problem : computer restarts automatically when cabal client is open right after windowsXP is loaded and Internal Driver Error.

Temporary solution : Open several applications / programs first before running cabal client.

Additional Notes : Computer with higher specification like 2GIG RAM and better video card  might not have the problem I experience.
Solution to the problem :

1. In the window screen I Clicked <Start> then <Run>
2. Typed regedit to launch registry window.
3  Then went to the following :

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Session Manager\Memory Management

4. Doubled click on “PagedPoolSize” then I chose Hexadecimal.
5. typed 18000000 to the value textbox. default value is zero.
6. closed window and reboot the computer.

After doing the above steps driver error and automatic restarts of cabal client was gone.
