Starcraft 2 Release Date

I’ve been searching for the starcraft 2 release date earlier but did not find any official statement about the release date. Some game sites were posting that the release date would be on December 2008 or January 2009.

There is an article over at http://pc.ign.com/articles/900/900934p1.html that starcraft 2 is already on the Alpha stage testing. This is a good news since most of us are eager to get our hands on the game.

NBA Street Online Philippine Launch

NBA Street Online game will be launched here in the Philippines by I-Play Online Games Inc., a joint venture between information technology conglomerate (IPVG) and leading broadcasting firm GMA Network Inc. With this development on the gaming scene in the Philippines, we can now see competition between two basketball online games namely freestyle online and this NBA Street Online.

Zhu Xian Online Philippines

Heard of Zhu Xian online? well this is another online game soon to arrive here in the Philippines. Zhu Xian is the third title by Perfect World Co., a leading online game developer and operator in China. According to the news Perfect World Co., had entered a partnership with IP E-Game Ventures Inc for the release of Zhu Xian here in the Philippines. Though its still too early to expect for the release date, somehow news like this would make pinoy gamers excited. I forgot to mention that Perfect World Co. Inc is the company who developed Perfect World which was released by LevelUP Inc here in the country.

Cabal PH and Digitel IP Issue

More and more e-games gamers are airing their issues regarding difficulty in accessing cabal client . Mostly these gamers are using Digitel as their Internet connection Provider. Some of these gamers can still login to cabal but with no buddy list. After hearing this from a friend here in Binan, Laguna I tested it at our Icafe. I found out the issue were true though I was able to run cabal client but the buddy list In-game were missing. On the otherside of this testing process I tested it at home using MyPldt DSL and it seems that everything is normal. I think there is a network communication issue between the Digitel subcribers IP and with the game Server of Cabal. For additional information, You may want to check e-games forum. As of this post I don’t see any official statement from Cabal GM. So, for now lets wait what would the GM say about this issue.

Dekaron SEA : Philippines

Things to do are a little bit light today so, I got the chance to try Dekaron SEA since closed Beta period has already started. My first glance experience on the International game released last December was fine except the slowness of the loading of the game. Back then Dekaron was known as 2 Moons.

My Philippine closed beta activation key was sent to my inbox two weeks ago and I just activated it today. I decided to try Incar Magician, a lady character in Dekaron because seven(7) months ago I already tried this Bagi Warrior which is describe as a big and strong character. As I explored this Epic world of Dekaron and reached the level 15 for my magician character made me noticed how nice the game was. My comment about the game during global released was already corrected. You may check my old post about 2moons here. I also did some screen shots of the game which you can see below. For now I’d like to continue playing Dekaron and hopefully, more people can participate in closed beta as I believe the game is nice.

Dota Latest Map

Nation War on Cabal Now Updated

The Cabal Philippines game Client just recently got updated and the good news was that the Nation War patch now included. It fixes also the crafting bug which was reported by the Cabalistas few weeks ago.

The Nation Wars

You can only join the Nation Wars after you complete the Nation Quest, which you can take only upon reaching level 95. After you’ve chosen either Capella or Procyon, you can take part in the daily struggle for National dominance. Only the first 100 heroes from each Nation can enter Tierra Gloriosa, the War Server. The two Nations will battle over the outposts that are being controlled by massively powerful guardians. The Nation that takes control of the opposing Nation’s capitol will control the battlefield.

The war will go on day after day, however due to the agreement that Capella and Procyon entered with Sirius, the war can only last for one hour (1hr) per day. Entry to the Nation War costs 1,000,000 Alz, which will not be refunded regardless of whether you quit or get disconnected. The lobby is open for half an hour before the Nation War so that the members of each Nation will have time to plan their strategies, purchase items from the Grocer, leave items with the Agent of Port Services, and recover from their previous battles. While only 250 players can enter the lobbies, only 100 from each Nation can take part in the Nation War.

There are two kinds of Nation Wars: Personal and Mission.

Personal Nation Wars–is a general battle where players receive rewards based on the number of outposts they overtake and enemies they killed. It takes place once a day from Sunday through Friday from 18:00 to 20:00 hours.
Mission Nation Wars–after a Mission Nation War, all members of the Nation that won will receive spoils of war. Mission Nation Wars take place once every Saturday from 18:00 to 20:00 hours and on special events.

Dekaron Closed Beta Events

Dekaron Sea just started its Closed Beta earlier this evening with some events. Whoever finds and report bugs, played the longest will get some rewards after the closed beta. EXP is also x3 to turbo charged the leveling of CB testers and drops are pouring during the entire CBT period. Other events can be browsed on their website.

Below are some screenshots from 4story Online Global. Isn’t the graphics nice? For some hardcore gamer I’m sure you will notice the similarity of how the game look like with another popular MMORPG in the industry. I refused to mention that game as this is 4story. The game came from Korea and eventually it expanded in US and other countries.

4story Online: first glance

I was not able to participate in the first closed beta testing for the game 4story which ended last July 20, 2008. However, ZEMI INTERACTIVE INC. did had a second closed beta which started August 8 and will end on August 12, 2008.

The First Glance
Let’s talk about the game 4story. The game is a 3D MMORPG. The first time I saw the web advertisement it immediately catches my attention because the graphics is just wonderful. This made me download the 4story’s installer and waited for the second open beta. When I finally went through the character creation I told myself I will be putting more game hours to the game.

The Characters and Races

4story has 3 races Human, Werebeast and Fairy. Each race has 6 character classes namely Warrior, Priest, Assassin, Archer, Wizard and Summoner. I think 4story is one of those MMORPG has a complete character classes. The character movement and game keys were just standard and normal.

After spending an hour or two playing and exploring the game and I can say the game somehow has a lot of Quest as I was already finished several of it in a short time. Since the game is new I still need to explore more and probably will do a second post about this.
