Starcraft 2 Release Date

I’ve been searching for the starcraft 2 release date earlier but did not find any official statement about the release date. Some game sites were posting that the release date would be on December 2008 or January 2009.

Starcraft fans like me should be happy about the announcement made by Blizzard Entertainment recently that Starcraft will have a sequel.
